Dr. Serena writes to extend the work beyond the therapy room — giving readers tools, perspective, and the knowledge that they are not alone in what they carry.
Dr. Serena writes to gives reader what the therapy room gives her clients — clarity, permission, and a path forward.
Her writing normalizes the messy, contradictory, deeply human experience of trying to change and grow.
Each book is rooted in clinical insight and translated into accessible, actionable guidance for real life.
Readers consistently share that her work makes them feel seen — sometimes for the very first time.
Writing is an extension of the work. When Dr. Serena puts words on a page, she is doing the same thing she does in every session — helping people see themselves more clearly, feel less alone in their experience, and move toward the life they actually want.
Her books are grounded in over two decades of clinical experience, personal evolution, and a deep belief that the right words at the right time can genuinely change a person’s trajectory.
“I write because someone needs to know that what they are feeling is real, it is human, and there is a way through it.”
